Staying in Bad Relationships for Soulmates and Twin Flames

Staying in bad relationships in an attempt to improve things sounds like a good idea on the surface. Many soulmates and twin flames do that for that very reason.

It makes sense that when you find a rare connection you don’t want to let go. So you hang on for dear life. What doesn’t make sense is staying too long in a bad relationship with a soulmate or twin flame.

The reason being, you can destroy it for good.

FROM GOOD TO BAD TO WORSE

Soulmate and twin flame relationships can fall apart very quickly. They will go from bad to worse without the intention of making things worse. Soul connections are strong ones and emotions usually take over. When your feelings dictate your behavior at heightened levels, bad things can happen.

If your feelings are coming from positive emotions like love, your relationship grows in a productive, nurturing way. If heightened levels of negative emotions, such as fear or insecurity, are the ones in charge of behavior, it goes into a tailspin. At this place many soul connections could actually be a double-edged sword.

Of course you love your spiritual partner and don’t want to lose them. We understand the emotion you have for one another. We understand why you wouldn’t want to give up on a bad soulmate or twin flame relationship.

Having faith in your connection and believing it could get better, we get that too. But it won’t get better unless you do something differently from here on out. What you have been doing is not working.

STAYING IN BAD RELATIONSHIPS BECAUSE YOU’RE TWIN FLAMES OR SOULMATES

If you’re going to stay, and put in the work, then do the best to make it work. What you think may be the right things to do or say to make your situation better, may actually be driving it in the opposite direction. Get professional help, even if they refuse to. Stop lowering your standards. Stop giving them a get out of jail free card all the time. Make some changes yourself instead of waiting on them to.

If you’re considering staying please accept you’re obviously been doing something WRONG. You can’t be doing everything right if your relationship actually sucks and you’re miserable. It’s easy to see what your twin flame or soulmate has done to make your relationship bad. But it’s difficult sometimes for you to see what you’re doing wrong. It really does take two to create a bad relationship.

Can you reasonably believe you’ve been handling your partner’s bad decisions and actions correctly? If you do, they wouldn’t keep acting out. If you’re doing the right thing, your union would be getting better, not worse. Why do you think your soulmate or twin flame isn’t changing? It’s because you are not changing, so why should they? They are not the ones suffering, you are.

WORKING TOGETHER

Sometimes couples need to work on their bad relationship together. In some cases the only way to make it work is to take a break from it. What you both do during that break can actually turn your relationship around for the better.

Staying in bad relationships and working on it together, may be the way to go. Sometimes it’s not. You may have to walk away temporarily in an effort to save it and save yourself. A twin flame or soulmate connection is not meant to destroy you, it’s meant to elevate you.

Staying in what seems like a hopeless situation can cause it to sink deeper into dysfunctional behavior. You need to take a different stance.

Perhaps your energy would be better placed on fixing yourself and healing. Start with yourself. Put yourself first, regain your dignity and your strength, so you can really be a productive influence on your bad soulmate or twin flame.

  1. There is no good excuse to stay in a relationship when it is only getting worse. Sometimes a break is exactly what is needed.
